How to entertain children at a New Year's Eve party

The night of the 31st closes the previous year and begins a new year! Let's have fun with friends, family... including children. We leave you some suggestions to make the night lively and fun!

Create a play space

Since children receive presents on Christmas Eve, we might suggest that children at the party bring two or three toys for the night. This way, they will play with their new toys, providing a moment of sharing with the other children.

Although not all children like to sing, most cannot resist a good time of karaoke with songs they know by heart. Instead of creating a karaoke with songs that only adults know, opt for the tastes of younger people. For example, ask your children and other children at the party to choose some songs they like to sing.

Organize a treasure hunt

Another way to keep children entertained is to create a lasting activity that offers some reward. Namely, a treasure hunt. You can define what the treasure is and hide it in an unlikely place. If there are many participants, a good solution is to hide several treasures that are the same or have different "values" or sizes.

Create the gratitude pot

Distribute paper and colored pencils for everyone to write messages thanking them for what they liked most this year. Younger children can do it with their parents' help. After dinner, for example, everyone can read and share the messages!
