The best way for parents to make sure their children eat the best they can at school is to prepare healthy lunch boxes.

The time to prepare lunch boxes represents an opportunity to practice and strengthen children's food and nutritional knowledge, ingraining healthy eating habits.
These lunch boxes should include fruit and, if possible, vegetables as they are healthy options. In addition, they should take a source of protein, some dairy product (such as milk, yogurt or cheese), a carbohydrate to provide energy (such as bread, cereal) and a drink to hydrate (such as water or natural juice).

- 1 apple, 1 yogurt, 1 mixed or wholemeal bread with 1 slice of cheese
- 1 fruit pulp, 1 mixed or wholemeal bread with low-fat butter
- 1 pear, 1 yogurt, 1 slice of homemade cake, such as carrot cake or sponge cake
- 1 slice of melon, 1 yogurt, 1 mixed or wholemeal bread with 1 slice of ham
- 1 peach, 1 yogurt, 1 slice of mixed or wholemeal bread with jam
- 1 or 2 carrots cut into sticks, 1 yogurt, 1 bread mix or wholemeal with peanut butter
- 1 small box with clementine segments, 1 liquid yogurt
- 1 box with cherry tomatoes, 1 triangle of cheese, 2 crackers and salt
- 1 small box with grape berries and cherry tomatoes, 1/2 mixed or wholemeal bread with a slice of turkey ham
- 1 sandwich with mixed bread, a slice of turkey ham, a lettuce leaf and two tomato slices
We can also add some cookies without cream or sweets, in case the child needs 2 snacks. Some examples are whole grain crackers, sea crackers, rice crackers or corn crackers .
Food has a huge impact on children's concentration, so it's important to provide healthy and nutritious lunch boxes so that little ones can get the most out of classes and the day .
