Children's Day
June 1st, World Children's Day, should always be celebrated remembering the importance of children's rights.
It is a privilege to grow up in a country like ours, where there are no wars, children have access to education and can be free.
As a way to celebrate this day, we were inspired by ( @familia_pumpkin ), to bring parents and children tips on activities to do with their families on June 1st.
- Book fair (Parque Eduardo VII; 25/05 to 11/06)
This is an excellent initiative to encourage reading among little ones. Free activities will be available for children, with story times and games planned.
- Kids Concerts (Hard Rock Cafe Lisboa; 04/06 at 09:30)
A musical show suitable for children aged 3 to 10 that promises to entertain the whole family. Children's concerts at Hard Rock Cafe Lisboa include a different breakfast and a fun soundtrack.
- The horse and the forest (Quinta de Santo António; 03/06 10am to 1pm)
During the morning, at the QSA Equestrian Club, for three hours, children have different dynamics and workshops to experience fun, joyful moments where connection with nature, friendship between people and animals and creativity will be stimulated while learning important aspects about the horse growth. Registration is required.
- Smile (Centro Cultural Malaposta; 01/06 to 04/06 10:30 am to 11:55 am)
A show created by dancer Rita Spider where the enchanted world and where several facets of the main character Smile will be found.
- Ovelha Choné (sea shopping food experience; 04/06 2:30 pm and 4:30 pm)
The free cultural and leisure program at MAR Shopping Food Experience (which serves as a stage in the restaurant space (floor 1) of the meeting place, concerts, magic nights and fun family afternoons), features the children's show of Ovelha Choné which will delight the little ones.

- Open Day (BB Douro; 03/06 09:30 am to 6:00 pm)
This day is dedicated to all members of the family! Children will have the opportunity to try out any boat from the Junior Academy fleet, boats specially designed for teaching sailing to young people. You can also opt for a ride with the adults on the Adult Academy boats.

- Pony club Porto (03/06 3pm to 6pm)
On this day there will be three hours full of fun where the little ones will be able to care for the animals, build origami and learn a little capoeira. Mandatory registration.
